About the Tallahassee Habitat for Humanity AffiliateTallahassee Habitat (THFH) was founded in February 1982, becoming the 28th Habitat for Humanity affiliate. It is a non-profit corporation governed by a locally elected Board of Directors. The administrative office and warehouse are located at 2921 Roberts Avenue in property donated by the City of Tallahassee. Since it was founded, Tallahassee Habitat has been actively working in the Leon County community to bring people together in partnership to build houses and new hope for families in need. The Tallahassee Affiliate contributes significantly to the work of FSU Habitat, including funding half the cost of the annual Collegiate Challenge house.
